You would be located in the rain shadow here and typically we get half the rain that Seattle endures. Summers are cooler and winters are warmer than the mainland by about ten degrees on average. No A/C is required and heat requirement is minimal even in the winter. You can also relax in front of the gas fireplace in the living room and just be.
